Introducing the Black Fives by 47' brand

Before the time I’d like to call the enlightenment in 1950 when basketball became officially integrated, American society was segregated and so was their basketball. Black teams would play white teams. There were 7 black teams that can trace their origins date back to 1904.  OGs for real.

Basketball was one of the first sports that had black and white playing together on the same court. The integration in the 1950s was so successful the history of the black fives languished in the history books.

But now it’s been brought back to life by 47' brand with the new collection of hats, grab your part of the history today.
